The ultimate goal of Markham Talent is to foster a vibrant and dynamic arts scene in Markham and York Region, celebrating the diversity and creativity of its residents while supporting the growth and development of local talent. Through its various activities and events, Markham Talent aims to enrich the cultural landscape of the region and provide opportunities for artistic expression and appreciation. The project seeks to provide a platform for local artists and performers to display their skills and creativity to a wider audience.

Music on the Street offers a captivating live busking experience, providing a platform for both budding and seasoned local musicians to engage with their audience. This event is set at Main St Unionville, inviting people who pass by to immerse themselves in the diverse music and styles of Markham’s musical Talent. Typical performances are of a relaxed and friendly nature at various spots along Main St Unionville. Audiences are treated to a glimpse into the unique essence of each performer’s musical journey. The Music on the Street event is ongoing every weekend from June 8th, 2024.
Join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating online event where we explore the healing power of art therapy. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone looking to destress and express themselves creatively.

During this event, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in guided art activities, learn about the benefits of art therapy, and connect with like-minded individuals in a supportive virtual environment. So grab your art supplies and get ready to unwind with Therapeutic Arts!
