Cameron Tania, affectionately known as “Toronto’s Plus Size Princess,” is a seasoned Queer & Neurodivergent Singer, Songwriter, Actor, and Vocal Coach hailing from the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada. Specializing in musical theatre, pop, and indie/folk, Cameron’s passion extends beyond her remarkable talents, making her a fervent advocate for LGBTQ+ Rights, Neurodivergent Accessibility, Addiction Recovery, Domestic Abuse Awareness, Mental Health, and Fat Liberation. With over 58k TikTok followers, Cameron has earned recognition as Oshawa’s Songwriter of the Year in 2022. She has also won competitions such a V-Star Brampton and Diamond in the Rough. Her journey includes studies with renowned mentors, such as Canadian Tenor Charles Di Raimondo, and ongoing enrollment in Seneca College’s Songwriting and Performance Program, where she’s maintained an impressive 4.0 GPA. Cameron’s commitment to community involvement is evident through her role as a Vocal and Performance Coach, Artist, and Music Director. Her impact extends to coaching young talents at Noble Street Studios, where she’s contributed to the expansion of performance workshops for both kids and young adults. As a prolific artist, Cameron has crafted over 60 compositions and recently unveiled her poignant debut EP, “Alone on Fire,” chronicling the stages of leaving an abusive relationship. Garnering over 57k overall followers, her honest lyrics and soothing vocals resonate deeply with audiences. In 2022, Cameron clinched the title of “Songwriter of the Year” at the OMAs and emerged victorious in the Oshawa Music Week’s “Songs Revealed” competition. Her diverse performance venues include The Rose Theatre, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, The Tranzac Club, C’est What Toronto, Live at Liberty for CMI, Oshawa Music Week 2023, Free Times Cafe (2023), and recurring residencies like Date Night at Milestones Restaurants, showcasing the breadth of her musical journey. Cameron’s journey also intersects with Micah Barnes, her esteemed professor at Seneca College and the Music Advisor for Canada’s Got Talent, who later became her mentor. Hired as a Vocal and Performance Coach at Micah Barnes’ personal business, “The Singer’s Playground,” Cameron played a pivotal role in expanding its clientele. Under Micah’s guidance, she introduced two new performance workshops for Kids 10-17 and Young Adults 18-26, contributing significantly to the growth and outreach of “The Singer’s Playground.” Cameron’s accolades extend to her role as a judge in The 2023 ‘Songs Revealed’ Songwriting Competition, adding another layer to her involvement in promoting emerging talent. Cameron also just released her new single “Snapchat Memories” The song will be featured on her upcoming album “I Know You’re Watching”
