The Markham Arts Council hosts Healing Dance sessions with renowned artist Munni Subhani, whose work has received commendation from the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. She has hosted Healing Dances for individuals all over the world, creating a community dedicated to movement and self expression.
These sessions help to improve muscle strength, balance, flexibility, and overall wellness. With a focus on building safe spaces, the Healing Dance sessions provide a one of a kind virtual space for you to move, relax and unwind at your own pace.
Munni Subhani is an accomplished dancer who has taught north Indian classical dance for years at her dance school in Toronto. She says she has found that dance benefits not only the body but the soul as well, boosting self-esteem, promoting emotional well being and fostering cultural connections. Munni received commendations from Ontario’s Lieutenant Governor Elizabeth Dowdeswell for her work with seniors in the province.
