One of the Markham Art Council’s largest events, the Arts and Cultural Heritage Celebration is held in May each year. Hosted at the Aaniin Community Centre, ACHC celebrates Asian and South Asian heritage and pays homage to the diverse and inclusive spirit of the City of Markham. Festivities include visual arts exhibitions, live dance and musical performances, workshops, and more.

In 2020, owing to the pandemic, ACHC was held virtually for the first time for seven days and featured several performance and demonstrations that were showcased through our virtual social media channels.
